HOW DO I KICK IT OUT?
Freaking smart phone are replacing relationships.Seriously, you must have experienced this: You're walking with a friend, or a few friends, and all they are doing is texting/playing games on their smart phones while you're not doing anything and there's this awkward silence in the air and they are so into their iphones/smart phones you are just wishing they would step into a pole.
...or maybe that's just me. I don't know. I love talking to people. Like, actually talking, not pretend talking on a phone where I can't hear the person's voice or i dunno, pretending that facebook friends are real friends (oops that's me sometimes too hahaha). Okay, I'm exaggerating a little bit there, but yah, when I'm with someone hanging out, I like talking to them, not wallow in silence as they text their thumbs off.

Just the other day, I was walking home, and I see this couple walking in the opposite direction as me. The boyfriend was frantically texting/twittering away on his phone while his girlfriend is just silently walking. I

I finished school!!!! yaayyyy!! :la: And, I still cant believe it, I have the BEST graduation of all the people from my school!! o.O I cant believe it... haha xD I will have more time for drawing now again! yayy :D

PE Feedback: How to Give a CritiqueHOW TO GIVE A CRITIQUE
It's a great thing that you want to critique other deviant's works and help them improve their skills through your constructive feedback. By critiquing fellow deviant's works, you are developing your critical thought and vision and thus, developing yourself as an artist. However, critiquing is not all about pointing out what others did wrong.  As `ChewedKandi has pointed out in 'How To: Critiquing Artwork' "a critique is giving your opinion in a constructive manner about a subject - be it a piece a music, a piece of art, the meal you've just ate and so on."
That's the main point of this article: to share a few pointers on how to give a quality critique while providing links to a compilation of useful guides that focus on this very same topic.

When first stumbling upon deviantArt, whether 5 months or 5 years ago, we decided to join because we wanted to share our art. We wanted our work to be seen, to be appreciated, to be understood. However, it can be a long and difficult journey from obscurity into the spotlight. Many newcomers and even long-time deviants are sometimes overwhelmed and discouraged by a seeming lack of interest and/or exposure for their work. After all, that's what dA is for, right? Not necessarily - the answer to that question is a bit more involved than a simple "yes" or "no".
Society in general has become used to instant gratification. Want the new album by your favorite artist? With the click of a mouse, you've got it! Need to get in touch with your cousin who's moved to Italy? It's easy -- just Skype! The college you want to attend is across the country? No problem, they offer online courses!

All of us have heard about feedback events during our time on deviantArt. Many of us have participated in them, while others have declined to do so for various reasons. Some of these reasons include fear of receiving critique on one's own work, fear of being attacked for critiquing someone's work, fear of not knowing what to say, and feeling inadequate to critique a deviation from someone who is perhaps more skilled than we are--especially if the deviation is created using a medium to which we are unaccustomed.
We especially want to focus on this last reason.
Here is a conversation that we had recently in a dA chat room (names have been changed):
Us: We are planning a cross-medium, dA-wide critique event for Project Educate!! Will you participate?
DeviantX: Hmm. I don't know.

You have to use a color scheme based on one of the following colors:
Blue, Purple/Violet or Red,
and create a painting/ drawing using it; You can choose the situation and characters of your artwork completely free. You can do both, fanart or original artwork, as long as the color scheme fits to it.

how do you run your commissions process? I've been thinking of offering commissions, and I figured the person to ask about it would be you. I don't understand how you ensure that your digital files aren't copied and shared with others, and I was curious about the process in general. If you could give me some tips on starting, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
