Painted this over Livestream in about 4 hours, you can view the full recording [link] at my new Youtube channel. Thank you very much to all who stayed and watched! I have always loved all imagery of Sherlock Holmes playing the violin, I find it very striking and it's one of his most recognizable and interesting character traits. This piece is inspired by BBC's Sherlock series (I cannot possibly recommend this show more, go watch it on Netflix Instant!)

Great painting! Now I'm interested in getting the Wacom tablet myself. Beautiful work. Wish I could see the time-lapsed process video, but the link says "Sorry, it's private." Is there another link to it?

A good TV series. Even better portrait portrait of Benedict, aka Sherlock. Great finishing touches. Good title too! Would love to see Basil Rathbone one day.
